Hi

One of my image thumbnail as a 'exclamation' mark in a yellow triangle indicating their is something wrong with the image. But the application do not say anything about it when I pass the mouse over the thumbnail, the say mark or even when I display the images. What does that means ? How can I get information on what is 'wrong' ?

The yellow triangle indicates that the master image changed after it was imported into Observatory. It's a warning that some of the image metadata displayed for it in Observatory may not match the actual image anymore. Please see the "Using the Browser" article in the user manual for the meaning of the badges.

Select the image and choose the "Image > Reset Attributes" menu item to have Observatory reload the master's metadata and reset its corresponding versions. This will cause the yellow triangle to disappear. Be aware that if you do this, manually updated metadata or plate solve solution for this image will be reset as well.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply but the "Image > Reset Attribute" is greyed out and I can't click on it. See screenshot

From the screenshot it looks like the image version has been locked (it has the lock badge). You'll need to unlock it first. You can do that in the Image Version Inspector, or with its corresponding Image menu item. If it's the album that is locked, then use the Album Inspector to unlock it, or its corresponding Album menu item.
