variable star magnitude decimal places

Is there any chance we could get the second decimal place for the magnitude of the variable in the photometry tool?  The comparison star magnitude seems to allow 2 decimal places.

And then...  is there any chance we might be able to get an error estimate for the magnitude for the variable?  I have done some work estimating such parameters.  Perhaps I could suggest an equation or an algorithm.  Let me know.

I'll change it to 2.

For plate solved images, the magnitude of the comparison star is automatically populated if it exist in the Tycho-2, or UCAC4, or USNO-A2.0 catalog (in that order, and with a preference for V, then R and lastly B). But, I see now that it is not populated for images with a very large pixel scale like yours. I'll fix that too at the same time.

I agree that an error estimate is needed here. Please feel free to make the suggestions you refer to, as that would speed up the implementation. You may wish to use the PM feature of the forum, or use support@codeobsession.com.
