Thanks for setting this up. I really hope to dig into Observatory over the coming days by loading a complete image set of bias, darks, flats, and lights for a single LRGB target.

Just wondering what Observatory can handle at this point in terms of images. I have one shot color image sets using the ASI1600MC-Cool, but I also have LRGB, LRGB+HA, and OIII+SII+HA image sets using the ASI1600MM-Cool. Can you assign color channels to B&W image sets?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Right now it handles grayscale and RGB images, and lets you convert one shot color images to RGB with the Debayer adjustment. It does not yet support splitting or combining channels, but that will be added in an upcoming update.

Hi Andrew,

I've added steps for RGB/LRGB combine in the section about the Layers Panel.

Would this work for you? With a few changes in a maintenance release I think it should be possible to reduce the number of steps.

This is great. I had no idea you added this feature!

I'll have to temper your enthusiasm a bit :) It is not exactly a new feature, but something that can be done since 1.2 with many steps. Observatory needs a few changes to really cut down the number of steps.
